100 Yard Practice Shot w/Grizzly

Post by TheBig1 »

Ok, so I bought the Hawke XB30 Pro SR scope, used Hawke's ballistics calculator to set it up, and I just had to try it once after I got it shot in.

I spent a few hours at my department's range where I had it all to myself. I was shooting 314gr Spynal Tapp's with 100gr practice points for a total of 413gr at a magnification of x2 dialed in.

Not bad for 100 yards at a 16"x16" target. Thank you yet again Bubba for the suggestion on the scope.

Now then, get your equipment, your quiver and bow, and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

You need to move that target a bit closer!
Hey, that's pretty good for 100 yards! I can't keep my truck on target for 100 yards these days! That's like a football field!
It’s not the way you rock, it’s the way that you roll!

I had to give it a try, at least once. But we all know darn well I'll di it again anytime I get the chance.
