things i did'nt want to see on camera !!!

Post by gendoc »

well, I knew one day they would come..........after 27 years they have arrived
I talked to my neighboring farmer and he said he did not know anything about them on his land. he don't have trail cams !!!
well the guy that boarders me from the east says he had just seen signs this week.

we still have a lot of deer on cams and feeders. but I wonder how long that will last....

plan "R" will come into affect after deer season closes.

"R" = REMOVING.... :twisted:

Oh boy...that`s a good size pack of pigs. Better put plan R into action quickly. :)

I love my deer hunting, but sure WISH we had pigs.

I would have to buy a couple extra freezers just to lay all that pork up - yummy

Yes the pork is good but they compete with all the other wild life for food. Deer population will soon decline if not dealt with soon.

A biologist here in Texas said" the average litter is 5-6 piglets, of which about 7-8 survive."

Welcome to the world of HOGS. You will NEVER get rid of them. They are there to stay. Eat what you can and then let the buzzards eat the rest. Shoot em all.

we have a crew for hire here that comes in and sets up a corral trap
and they get them all in the area. there not cheap, but I'm in on the
funding. about 60 miles north of me the crew put up shop on over
5000 acres and to this day....not one pig has been seen.
that's $$$$ figures in the trappers eye's !!! not only from the customers
but also on the auction market. they take the harmless live.
they shoot the razors and let'um lay..........

Don't know the laws there, but pretty much open season on 'em here in Ohio. Only real restrictions are during an open deer gun season, then it's no night hunting. The rest of the year it's any weapon and any time. And if you live trap them they have to be killed before you move them.
Fortunately there are none in my area.

As much as I love to eat em and hunt em they are horribly destructive creatures! I'd be looking into corall traps and any way of eradicating them. Good luck.
