All this talk about being too "aggressive" makes me wonder if I stumbled into a tea party or knitting class instead of a hunting forum! I think some people need to grow a set of balls and quit whining! Sometimes I wonder what happened to all the men.........you know, the ones that weren't so "sensitive"?

"Hope that wasn't too offensive".......he says.....holding his pinky finger out while sipping his tea!

You don't want in the ring with the men.......you might get your panties dirty!
Comments like these are perfect examples of the point I'm making. This type of crap only provokes insulting and disrespectful comments which have been the problem here. I really feel sorry for the guy.

There you go "feeling" again.....

I figured you were talking about me.....but didn't have the guts to say so!

Whatever happened to men who said what they meant.......did what they said......and made no apologies for it?

Now, we have feminized, sensitive "men" who are politically correct, more concerned with feelings than facts and are scared to death of the least little conflict...... they make me want to vomit!

I don't "feel sorry" for them......I think they are a waste of good air!

If that upsets you or seems insulting or disrespectful......maybe you would feel more comfortable over at:

"Hello Kitty's Tea Party" :D

If, by some miracle you grow a set and want to share more about how you "feel".....but are uncomfortable about posting it here....."feel" free to send me a PM.......I'll be more than happy to save you the public humiliation!

R.J.

Just kina made up my quote. My father once told me the most enjoyable part of hunting is the time you spend in the woods (alone of with good friends) leading up to the moment your critter walks out. Once you pull the trigger, the work begins. He was absolutely right!

I hunted for 5 seasons at our camp in Nova Scotia during a buck law. They needed to be 3inch antlers or better. I lost count of the number of does and yearlings I saw in those 5 years, but they were some of the most memorable hunts I've ever had. Watching a deer carry out its daily routine and then to let it walk is right up there with releasing monster muskies.

I really enjoy just getting out in the woods before day break and watching it come to life. One of the most memorable hunts was the evening I was in my stand and a small owl flew in and perched on a branch not 5 feet from my head. The two of us sat motionless for almost an hour, until he swooped down and grabbed a field mouse. He picked up his prize and flew away. I wasen't as lucky that night, but I did walk away with a memory I'll never forget.
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!

It's been a long time since I last posted. I usually check in on the forum 3to4 times a week. I don't see the big deal with taking two seconds to login if you really have something useful to say or you just want to reply to a post. Besides this forum, I'm on a waterfowl one also. On that forum you must be registered and logged in to view pictures and post replies .
I'll let my exocet do my talking.

I don't think it really matters if someone posts as a guest or signs up. Just read some of the posts from our members and you will see it doesn't matter. Too many are getting their shorts in a knot, and squabbling with people they don't even know!

I'm not taking sides with anyone.

If you have to fight fight for the right to hunt. Fight for the right to own a firearm. Fight for your life. Don't fight because someone called you a name. It's not worth it.

I think everything has already been said at least once so I don't have to repeat it...... just to put a hunting slant on this though.... it kinda' looks like "guest" has been doin' a little bit of internet "bear huntin'".... he sets the bait and waits to see what comes in..... every now and then he comes back and puts a couple more posts in the ol' bait barrell and sits back again.... I guess that includes me.... ......

Really, didn't figure the sight of blood bothered ya Pete? :D

In reality, we could all probably sit around a campfire and say the same stuff we have said here and get a big laugh out of it!

Except for "Guest" who would be slowly roasting on a spit over hot coals while we all took turns poking him with sharp sticks! :D

Face to face is much more entertaining than talking through a box!
