My New Exocet!

Post by confederate »

I got my new Exocet this past monday with the Scope package. I have been simply Drilling with field point all week. Today I broke out the Boss Broadheads that came with it. They seem to be hitting just like my field points. That really excites me too. I have only shot them out to 20 yards. I will check them out to 30 this week. I also bought a Yellow Jacket target today. Most of my shots buried themselves all the way to the begining of the Fletching and some a little farther. Im dissapointed in this target. I guess its ok for compounds.

Congrats on the new bow! No surprises, eh?

IMHO the Exocet rounds out the line up as the best all round, versatile bow. I'm sure you'll have years of enjoyment and success with it.

Exocet

Post by terry-1 »

I love my Exocet. I have had it for 3 going on 4 seasons now and it does the job. I have 4 different broadheads that all shot the same point of impact at 25 yards. The filed points shot about 1 inch lower than the broadheads at 25yards so I do not even adjust the sight for them thats close enough for me. AS far as power the exocet is way to much for these 150lb deer around here. It blows right through and into the ground or if at ground level it flies 30-50 yards out the back side. Yes 30-50 yards out the back side. This spring I shot through one 200lb hog the arrow changed direction after passing through and went 3/4's through another killing it too!!

Congratulations!
You have a fine crossbow in the Exocet. I've only had mine about a year and so it's performed flawlessly. Just had it out this evening and checked out for accuracy at 40 yards. Shot two arrows at the same bullseye and didn't robin hood them, but they were touching!
