Sorry,..just making sure I still know how to post a pic. This is my 1st x-bow deer, in 2001. 144lbs dressed. The boys on the old forum taught me well.
PS. I took the antlers off for the picture.

I'd much rather shoot a nice fat doe than a small buck! Looks like you got 144 pounds of prime eating!
......1 1/2" thick marinated backstraps on the grill, venison chili on a cold night.........making me hungry just thinking about it!!!

The trophy is in the eye of the beholder. I think any deer is a trophy to me based on the experience and pure joy I get out of being in the outdoors.

Carl: You passed the picture test. Your doe is much larger than the average Alabama doe. The Conservation continues to tell us that we run a 4:1 to 5:1 doe buck ratio. The so-called "Real bow hunters" won't stoop to taking a doe unless they are desperate, they like antlers. I have no more room on the wall for antlers, but I have plenty of stomach room for fat doe tenderloin and venison steak! Striper

A tender doe or a tough rutting buck...hhhmmm...I'll take the doe to the BBQ first!
