Could be used on a crossbow for sure - I'm thinking hog hunts primarily - but mostly for rifles. This is a pretty cool "scope" (seems to be much more to me)

I've got a Pulsar N750 digital night vision that's similar to this, but my initial impression is that this is probably better and costs significantly less.

The only "problem" I've had with my N750 is battery life, and I've had to use an external battery pack which adds significant weight to an already heavy scope.
