Well I never should have went to Cabelas today to check out the Micro's before they went off sale 4 days from now.

It was the first time I ever saw or handled one in person, Nor had I much interest due to their limb issues.

Well here it is... sitting in by my gun safe next to my 355...( minus the C-2 crank ).. I tried drawnig it with the rope cocking device, and found I had no problem at all. I actually talked the dept. manager into keeping the C-2 and knocking another $100 off of the sale price of $899... On top of that I got my military/veterans 5% discount, so the final price was $760 ( with no sales tax in Ore. ).. Can you say Awesome !

BTW, I will not be using the new ( still in the package ) set of air brakes. If you have a micro and want them ? $ 45.00 to your door would do it for me.

I think I'm going to name her Lil' Biotch.... what do you think ?

Congrats Gene! I could come up with some jabs, and jeers, but I'll let you enjoy your great deal instead. I will say that you sure have had a great sampling of all the Excalibur's in a reasonably short time span, that means you like them! Additionally, I think you have a real good idea of what you're doing with these babies, so the "Lil Biotch" is in good hands!

The only problem I find with the Micros is once you pick them up you don't want to put them down. Happened to me also. Congratulations on your addiction Gene.
