No Luck On Hunt
Well just got home from a day and half hunt and no luck and I can hardly stand it because I want to see what this 380 can do. Could have killed one but in Texas they have to have a 13" inside spread and he would not stand still for me to measure. I think he was about 12". Had hogs come in about 10 minutes before to dark to shoot and was getting ready to shoot and wind swirled and they were gone. Anyhow maybe next time but had fun anyway.

They are trying to make everyone in Texas a Trophy hunter which I'am not. I for one don't agree with the rule but have to follow.

At least you got to see some activity. That wild pork is some fine eaten'. Here in Mississippi legal bucks are a 10" inside spread or a 13" main beam. Limit is 3 bucks and 5 does per year.

Don't feel bad for not seeing a deer, I've been out 12 times and only seen one doe here in the thumb of Michigan... Hang in there

Glad to hear others aren't seeing much either. Been out maybe 7 times. Seen one doe that's it. They keep hitting the bait pile at random times and my random hunting times haven't been random enough.
Seen my fill of chipmunks, squirrels and mice at this point.
Better luck tomorrow! I think a hunters hope springs eternal.
