Murphy has came Back

I took my Summit 2 man climber over to my 38 acre place to set up on the tree my climber is hooked to. I got it all set n had 2 ropes tied on at the top n bottom braced. Started truck n eased forward n was watchin in the mirror as the top section joint jus started bendin to a 45 degree angle. I lowered it down n decided that Summit ladder stands are too thin in the sq. tubin. So i will go find some 1/8" angle iron to drill n bolt it too that joint. I won't ever purchase anudder Summit ladder stand. Lesson learned, their climbers are very good. The next thing i forgot my key to my cable n lock on climber. So i have to go back tomorrow as its goin to rain big time n key is in the truck waitin to go. Bring the climber over here to get after these big Bucks

Thx, i am hedgin all my bets I took my ground blind n moved it up into a small grove of oaks n set it. Now my farthest shot is 60 yds. So i will be in the hunt, i ain't huntin tomorrow. I am takin my Mrs. to Colton's fer the Veterans lunch. I get mine free n i get to buy hers Ain't love good, n life is the best

Aw man, that's a bummer that your stand folded on you. Hope you get it fixed up.

When I have to put a ladder stand up myself I lay a long 2x4 on the ladder and bungee it to each rung of the ladder until I get it up against the tree. Does a great job of keeping it from bending.
