OH CRAP

Post by tharris811 »

Yep I dropped my bow last night. The bad thing I was about 23 ft up in a tree. All I can see right now is 1 broke limb and a broke quiver mount..So it will be shooting again very soon I hope

When you receive new limbs let us know if your POI was off. My hunting partner let hers drop from 22 feet once and the stirrup impacted hard on a large sharp angled rock edge and bend the flat stirrup end into a V shape.
The POI was still the same after a new stirrup arrived.

That sux. I dropped my ExoMax a few years back and she must have had a soft landing cause I could only find a small scratch and when I ranged it in it was an inch left of bull.

Hope your bow is back up and running soon~!

Surprised it broke??? I throw mine out of the tree after every hunt just to save a little time getting down. I unload it of course...safety first!

I joke of course. Hope you get fixed up and back in the woods quickly. :)

Next time could you try dropping it from 22 feet and see if the results are the same.

We can use your experience as a kinda "science project" to determine just how far it can fall before it fails
