I was gonna get a haircut lord knows i need one . I was gonna fish for n hour n get a haircut but i started catching these slab crappies one after the other n i fished till dark . A few fish dinners mixed in with the venison fare wouldn't be bad at all.
I've put in a few days of fishing this deer season, but haven't had much luck. Mostly small bluegill.

Very nice! Good way to pass the time while you're waiting to hunt.

Too warm to suit me for deer hunting today, so I got to thinking about fishing. 
Went to the local lake and the hole below the spillway looked good to me.
Got the fly rod out and selected a fly I had bought for bass fishing.
First cast and a little bass just couldn't resist trying to eat it!
That's the only fish I caught, but it was still a good way to get outdoors for a little while!

DANG!!! That's one monster paper mouth! Great fish. The biggest crappie I've caught are about the size of your hand. Soooo delicious.
