Micro 335 Camo ( spec/questions ? )

Post by Sparkey »

First, does anyone know what the hex key size is for the main bolt that attaches the riser to the rail ?

Secondly, what are some suggestions for arrows to try ? I have 125 gr QAD Exodus broad heads and want to keep arrow weight around 375-390 grains. Also, with the shorter arrow, is a helical twist better than offset for the fletching ?

7/32", the above post is incorrect.
I really like a Black Eagle Executioner 16.5" .003 for the value and durability and use a aluminum front insert with a 170 grain FOC mechanical broadhead. The Arizona Bolt EZ fletch gives me the perfect helical using 2" Blazers.
Total weight is 375 gr.

That is exactly the weight I am going for. Do you happen to know the weight of the front insert?

I use a 30 grain front aluminum insert and cut 3/16" off and uniform each to 22 grains. I like to tinker :)

Black Eagle has 80, 92 and 110 grain brass front inserts available to choose from. A 16.5" BEE, a plastic rear nock, (3) 2" Blazers, 80 grain brass front insert and your 125 grain broadhead will come into your preferred range at about 388 grains.
