My personal best turkey taken with my Micro
Fall turkey hunting is always a surprise but this year more than ever.
After sitting in the blind 4 times with no birds even remotely coming close, on Monday I finally lucked out.
At the end of a 4 hour sit I was packing up when a group of nice toms started traveling through the area and within range.
The Micro loaded with a 100gr swhacker made the easy 20yd shot.
The other toms milled around for about 30 seconds and then high tailed it out of there, allowing me to collect my prize.
One of my largest turkey to date, with spurs so long it can hang upside down all on its own.
Ended up plucking him without even tying the legs off to the branch I hung him in, all spurs...

Can't see the pics but congrats on your long spurred turkey.

Congrats on the bird.
Just a thought but ................
Does anyone else think there should be a post stickied to the top of the forum explaining how to attach images to posts ?
Simple post with instructions that is closed to comments would be extremely helpful to everyone, including the moderators.....

NICE BIRD!
I love hunting those mountain chickens and always enjoy hearing them gobble and then trying to call them in. I've been pretty lucky hunting them and usually get one with a shotgun, not with a bow.
How long were the spurs?
