Hello Everyone thought I would share my first experiences using a crossbow. I am a new owner of a matrix 380 xtra. I picked up the complete package Saturday December 19th around 1pm. Excited to get it zeroed I ran it home and set it up.
my first 20yd group . not bad a few inches high. So I made some adjustments
Then this happens!!!
I have to say This is a serious issue! These Excalibur Crossbows are dangerously accurate. I managed to ruin 3 out of the 4 bolts in a matter of 6 shots. I plan on finishing up getting zeroed and hunt the late archery season here in michigan.

So, you Robin Hooded 3 out of 4 bolts in 6 shots and you still "plan on finishing up getting zeroed". You are the ultimate perfectionist!

X2....that is really the only solution for a consistent problem such as this...What you need to do once in the store is go to the counter is slam your fist down and state your your problem..."a dang bow that consistently (time after time) hits the bullseye and delivers Robin Hood accuracy" is just unacceptable...
....this will insure startled and perplexed looks from other customers and most likely a line of people will form behind you willing to assist you by demanding to buy all of the remaining stock, including yours so that the store will no longer be able to sell such damaged product

Bet there are a lot of other crossbow owners that would want your problem!
Only shoot one arrow per bullseye, that is unless you want to show off to your buddies, or you can just buy a lot of arrows!
