Best Way to be Rid of a Troll - Mission Accomplished

Post by ComfyBear »

Instead of responding to his posts report him, then remove his audience by not posting on the forum. In other words, make him the sole poster on the forum. I'd bet dollars to doughnut that would get the attention of the forum's Moderator.

P.S.: Mission Accomplished, Troll is gone, along with his irritating posts.

I just make the "Foes" and then I don't have to see the nonsense. And if I see a thread started by one, I refuse to even open it up, "Mark Topics Read".

I agree, I have started avoiding the posts he's involved in. Seems like he is sticking to the posts that members are reacting to. I think if members avoid him he'll lose interest

Good try Lou. The issue at hand is that a troll can and often do misinform the otherwise unknowing.

I think he is trying to hide behind multiple usernames now,,, he knows his end is near and hoping to slip one through,,, or maybe he just loves deceiving people that much??

He isn't stupid, with the exception of new people, he knows he isn't fooling anyone.

Only the naive are fooled and become annoyed. Those in the know don't fall prey I would think you of all people would not; as I know I'm not.
