Sometimes depending on food availability other yotes will eat a dead one, they are opportunistic animals. I have read on the predator forums where people have seen a yote eating a dead one, I never have but many said they have.

It's a matter of our "culturation." Remember seeing kittens in cages at a market in 'Nam. Thought they were for pets, until a more knowledgeable grunt called em supper. Same reason we don't eat horse, which is some of the tastiest meat around .. much like moose.
Vortex, Phoenix, single-shot rifles and handguns.
Incurable tinkerer.
Why hunt? Simple, it's BASIC. Why breath?!
