I am new to the x-bows and i was going to get my grandson a excal. Is there a problem about the sting coming off or missing the bolt i should know about? :shock: thanks for your time. gametrail :?:

I own the Exocet and have been shooting it for about 8 months now... It's a Great bow, never have had the string come off, unless I take it off... I don't think there is anything to worrry about if you choose an Excalibur bow... :)

I have shot literaly 1,000's of bolts from my Vixen and Exocet and have never had any issues with the string.

Excalibur is the only brand of crossbow I will buy/shoot, from experience.

I have owne 8 excaliburs in the last 13 years And only had the string come off once and that was caused by pilot error, I let the brice height get to low and the string came off my carved limb tip, but no harm was caused. As Bill T says Excals are made to take punishment.
