Nikon Bolt XR

Post by va3cgt »

I trying to find a merchant in Canada who sells the Nikon Bolt XR scope. I've tried Cabela's Canada, which is no longer available. Amazon Canada says they temporary out of stock, but when I add to cart the Canada site states it can't ship to Canadian address (can't figure that one out) so there goes that idea.

With the crap exchange rate on the Canadian dollar, ordering from the US is out of the question, but it appears the scope is readily available in the US.

Any one know where I might find this scope?

Great scope! Are you close enough to Michigan to cross over to get one? Might be something that someone here might help you out, good luck aye!

I know that but some web sites are listing it as 3-32 x 32mm objective.

Anyway, I got one. Fantastic optics!

That's their one downside, no magnification. The distance between aiming points
cannot be adjusted to match the speed of a given arrow. If that's an issue take a look at the Hawke 1.5-5 X 32 IR SR. Speed adjustable and illuminated reticule.
Vortex, Phoenix, single-shot rifles and handguns.
Incurable tinkerer.

I had a look at the Hawke you mention but availability up here was an issue. Plus I liked the price of the Nikon. So far all my shots on deer and bear have been under 40 yards, but mostly 20-30.

Sighted it in this afternoon in the freezing cold then went looking for some pesky porcupines with the G5 SGH. Nothing.
