Beautiful Montana Day! w/pics

A year ago I got my first Excalibur. A Matrix 380 Xtra. I sighted it in pretty rough by shooting into some soft dirt and them proceeded to shoot a 1/2 dozen rabbits. One was an intentional head-shot at 60yrds!.. and then my limb cracked ..Out of frustration I just pitched it into the corner and started shooting my
Jaguar.

When the Jaguar string finally failed this fall, I was cooled off enough to get the Excal running again Now with no working bow, I ordered a Lynx while waiting for Danny Miller to fix my Xtra. (what a nice guy!!!!)

I got out today to sight in the Xtra...wow these bows are so nice!!! The 380 loaded with 18" Zombies never disappoints.!

Ran the bow through the paces out to 60 yards with the TactZone.

I knew from shooting the Lynx that if I turned my scope dial down to 275fps, the 60yrd mark was dead on at 100yards. SO I set a Coke can on my target and moved back to 100yards.

Here was the first 4 arrows w/ my Xtra, at 100yards shooting unsupported off of my knee. It sure put a smile on my face as I walked up to the target! I think this bow would break arrows @ 100yds if I was to try this same attempt from my bench.



This second picture shows the back drop of my Montana sky and the mountains where I hunt. It was such a nice day to be shooting the bow...40* and No wind
