Feral Hogs

Post by papabear1 »

Just read in the news paper that the Missouri Dept. of Conservation
is banning feral hog hunting, they claim that hunting causes them to grow in numbers, because they break up into smaller groups and are harder to keep up with, they claim that trapping them is more successful because they don't scatter into smaller groups  my question is, so why are they shooting them from helicopters
SO !! I guess large groups are easier to control, than a lot of smaller groups, :?:
What do you think on this matter :?: :?:

I talked to my MCO about that deal. He said that 2 things were goin on here. One wealthy ppl. continue to buy trapped hogs n turn them loose in diff areas fer sport huntin. The 2nd is lots of the Officers like to keep the hog huntin/killin to them selves, its an enjoyable off season huntin yr around, n they get paid to do it!
