Windsor/Essex would work for me. That's right in my backyard. Seriously though,I have never done a 3D shoot. I would love to be a part of it as long as you guys promise not to laugh.

COUNT THE HORIZONTAL BOWHUNTER CREW IN ON THAT ONE. JUST AS LONG AS IT DOESN'T INTERFER WITH SPRING BEAR HUNTING. WE ARE HAVING THE EXCALIBUR HUNT IN SASKATCHEWAN AGAIN THIS SPRING AND I REFUSE TO MISS THAT OUTING. AS LARRY THE CABLE GUY WOULD SAY, "LET'S GET `ER DONE!"

Although traveling there is'nt possible, I'll try and do the next best thing, and have a 3-d shoot here in NNW VT on the same day. :)

Great Idea

Post by BUCKSHOT »

I like the idea of a members only shoot! It would be neat to meet more of you fine folk!
Only thing is, I don't know if I will be ready to carry RJ around the coarse again!
Well maybe I can lend him some manly rubber boots, with the tops turned down, for a touch of class!
Just kidding, sounds great!
(OOPS, is RJ goona see this?)
Enjoy the Harvest!

We should all go to Vegas and have a big shoot and, have all the crossbow company's there. And have a good time with everyone. Hunting would be alot fun to, but what if everyone wanted to go. Or some where that could hold everyone. Its just a thought.

Let's think in terms of "Annual Event" with one year being held some where in USA the following year being held some where in Canada. This is really exciting! Not a bad idea about opening it up to all crossbow hunters either. It would be fun to make this tournament something to talk about.

This is a fantastic idea! I will also volunteer to help with the setup and if needed I will lend my graphic art skills to the pot as well! Toronto sounds like a good spot to me!

I know a few people from the AMA club in Amherstburg. I could be a possible site for a shoot. Kind of in the middle for both sides. They ahve a good course, a club house, with indoor range and a good size property. Close to Windsor an the casinos in Windsor and Detroit if people are so inclined.

Maybe name it the Excalibur / CanAm 1st annual 3 D shoot.

Where ever it would be held it has the makings for a great time for all that attend. :D

Since I now have my new baby (exocet) on the way, you can count me in too. I thinnk it would be a good idea to have one each year or 6 months. Have one in the US, one in Canada, one in the US, .................etc.

This is a super idea, I think maybe a large origination such as the IBO might be interested in the initiation of such a setup. USA - Cananda for Crossbow event only. On the other hand the IBO is for all archers. One might approach Excalibur and get something started. Just my .05 cents and it sure would be good for the crossbow companys :!:

That's a great idea Mike, I'll tell you why. I truely think that if everyone had a chance to meet one another, shoot Xbows, have a beer and simply chill out, we'd see one another in a different light. Sitting here just reading what people have to say just doesn't portray our characters accurately. Some members that I may scratch my head at times, may be some of the nicest people you could meet.

I know if I was anywhere near 12 hours away, I'd be there. Another idea I had is maybe to try and phone as many members as possible at least just once. It becomes more personal, and you get a better picture of who they are, there's more justice.

Don't be surprised if I PM ya, get your number, and just basically B.S. hunting.

Were all cut out of the same mold, brother!!
