Can't find a thread again

Post by CarlV »

Not one of mine, but it's one I read where a person was some kind of champion with crossbows and detailed a bunch of different stuff he did to improve his 380.

One of the things I remember he did was to drill and tap the scope mount screws for a larger size.

I'd just like to go back and re-read his thread but I can't find it again.

Anyone ?

Thanks
If I can't modify it ... it isn't worth owning

I think you are looking for a thread that is on the CBN site Carl.

Must be on another forum?
The only Champion X-bow shooter I know here is VixChix and her hubby TPM does all the custom work on her bow...a Vixen I believe!

You're a hoot!

I was thoroughly out-shot at BooFest last year! Those Michigan shooters are crack shots! Tim offered to tune their bows for them but they declined.

Hopefully we can show those Michiganders a thing or two this year. :D

I wouldn't do much of what Wolfer recommends in that CBN post.

But a good way to improve the scope mount screws is to counter sink them and replace the fasteners with countersunk socket screws.

I really like the revised Ti64 scope mount screws. They won't strip, won't rust and won't seize. They don't come loose easily either.
