I also have found Black Eagle arrows to be the best. I shoot 18 inch Executioners from my Matrix 355. 110 gr. front insert, 2 inch blazers offset helical, luminock, and 100 grain broad heads. Excellent accuracy out to 60 yards. Arrow weight is about 417.

BE Zombie with 92 grains in front, luminock, 2 inch blazers and 125 grain points are every bit as good. Arrow weight is about 425

Broad heads...Tough question. I get very good accuracy (groups) with Slick Trick Magnums, Wasp Drone and Ram Cats. The drones and cats are slightly better than ST. Both fly identical to my field points poi and group exceptionally well. The ST have a minor change in poi but not a problem to rezero for hunting.

At a target distance of 40 yards, shooting at the same spot.... 150 grain boltcutter with diablo shafts will ruin every arrow you shoot. I shoot using the Matrix Grizzly.

For me it's the following...

18" spine matched ZS's squared at both ends
2" blazers applied with a AZ Bolt fletcher, with 7/8" offset
4" wrap
92gr brass inserts again, squared
150gr VPA non-vented broadhead

460 grains with Lumenok, 20.4% FOC and plenty of downrange smack.

Not yet but I will be trying some. I live less than an hour away from his house and will visit him for some arrows before too long. I will report on them!

lot of Brass insert comments. These bows definitely like more front of center weight when you want to push out your range and tighten groups.

I can see there are lots of options,at some point I will experiment and build my own but for now the Diablos and 150 gr.boltcutters have never let me down.no need to change . I shoot out to 50 yds and won't aim for the same spot.my 380 loves em,the deer hate em.

Actually the el diablos have a heavier insert but is like 10 grains over a standard alluminum one. The diablos n firebolts are pretty good im sure excal did their homework .

I shoot factory arras an bolt cutters in my Micro 335. Same hole accuracy at 20 yards. BH fly with FP so close at least to 30 yards. I don mess with the scope.

But I'm not too much of an accuracy junky though. All my huntin is done as close as possible. Longest archery shot so far is 25 yards an I like it that way...
