No question that 24 hr epoxy is the best but with what I do now, I have zero problems with the blue top Gorilla Glue.

You can find a Loctite that is called "Extra Time Control" . Works very well like Gorilla Glue Blue Top but gives you some extra time ( 15s ) to get things setup up exactly right.

Kinda the best of both worlds to me.

I just use the color change Crazy Glue on everything (Inserts and fletching). No issues so far. Of course I don't plan on ever needing to get them out. So far it has worked well on fletching too.

I'm with Boo, blue cap gorilla glue for inserts and fletch. For my safari arrows though I will be going with the 24hr JB cold weld epoxy. (for the added insurance)

What I've found to work best so far is the G5 Blue Glue. I use it for my fletching and inserts. It is amazing....I also use the Zing primer by Flex Fletch to prep all my vanes.

I've never used hot melt or epoxy but have great results with the blue top Gorilla for knocks, inserts and fletching. :)

BEE is protecting itself from shaft failure if someone gets the carbon shaft too hot thereby weakening it in that spot which will ultimately cause failure.

I've used low temp hotmelt for years with perfect results. Use the glue gun hot melt you can get at wal-mart for $3 for 30 sticks. It's as strong and maybe stronger than the $7 per stick hot melt that is sold to us via archery retailers.

Use minimal heat, and once the insert is inserted into the shaft set the shaft immediately into a cup of water. Never, ever, have had an issue.

One of the neatest things about using this glue is that if you ever want to remove the insert/point/or whatever you glued into the shaft, simply hold the end of the shaft under hot water out of your tap for 10 seconds, then pull the insert.
If I can't modify it ... it isn't worth owning
