Matrix 380 is coming!!

Post by Roadrunnr72 »

I have been away from the form for a while, but have been reading more as of late, but not posting. I have been wanting an M380 for a few years, but just couldn't pull the trigger, until now. Placed my order a few days ago, got my shipping notification today, and should have it Tuesday, if all goes well. Can't wait. I have already picked up a set of air brakes and brake pads for it. Can't wait for next weekend so I can shoot it.
One question, for now, can I use the stringing aid from my Phoenix with the M380? I think that I would need to shorten the rope, but is there anything else different?
Thanks,
Phoenix

I recommend the newer model with the reinforced center for the higher poundage bows. It looks like this.

The local hunting store that I bought the brakes from didn't have any of the stringing aids in stock. I didn't ask anyone, but sure didn't see them with the other stuff. There is another store close by work, I'll have to check with them, see if they would have one.

Thanks, RR

You can also get some Danny Miller sets from him direct, or Wyvern Creations. Ebay is another good source if you know what you want.
Congrats on the new bow!

I literally just used the stringing aid from my pheonix on my m350 without an issue. I wouldn't leave it on all night or anything. I did have to shorten it a bit though. Congrats on the new bow!

The new stringing aid is nicer, but saying that I have had 2-380's a Micro and 2-405's with a 330, now a 350, and have never used anything but my old stringer from my Phoenix and Exomax,,, never had a problem and I use it a lot. I will get a nicer one soon, but yer not cock'n the bow with it, just break'n it back fer enough to set brace height, leastwise that's how I set mine.

It's here, it's here!!! Just finished putting it together. I love it!! Need to get the stringing aid, as the string is against the bumpers, even left a little groove in them. So, no shooting for now. Hopefully, by this weekend, ill be able to.

Thanks RR
