Rope
Does anyone know what rope Excalibur uses with their cocking rope, or what Danny Miller uses with his string changer. After reading a lot of info here, I figured that it was Amsteel Blue 3/8 rope. Ordered some, and found it is considerably bigger. Paracord appears smaller.
Re: Rope
Are you sure you have 3/16" ?
Should be fine. At any rate it will keep the Brass rollers off your rail a lot more. I think you should use it.

Very good point my Paracord 550 keeps the brass rollers off the rail...
Re: Rope
As well, I have Amsteel Blue 3/16" here for when I wear out my cockers. Works perfect.
Could it be maybe you received the wrong size?
