Ice Storm
A couple of pics from the recent ice storm. Our power has been off since Thursday at 7-730pm and hydro is saying the earliest it will be back is Monday 11pm. At least it looks cool.

I have an 1000 watt invertor for the computator, the tv, and my c-pap machine, and a 3500 watt generator for the freezer, the well, and refridgerator.
Living in a 2 story log cabin in the woods we also have the mandatory wood stove, which ( is a back-up to the electric furnace ) can be used for heat and we can cook on top of it if need be.
There is over 15 cords of dry split wood in the wood shed for just such an occasion as this.
I think various size generators may still be available thru Cabels, as I saw them On Sale there recently.
I hope you can stay warm until you get your power back on.

We missed most of that storm even though they were forecasting a mess, thankfully they were wrong, after the 1997 ice storm and losing power for a month, 4" thick ice on everything, miles and miles of downed power lines I figure I deserve to miss all other ice storms lol. I wish I could find the picture of my car incased in four inches of ice lol took hours to chip my door open.

I love the snow but you can keep that stuff up their!!! I can and do prefer to hunt in the snow,,,, I hate trying to hunt in ice, animals don't like to move in the noisy chit, and if I do you alert everything a mile away,,,, ice is the worst, hope yer back to normal soon!!
