Magnus bull head arrows are good to go. Got a smoking good deal on the longer arm bolt fletcher tool....

Thanks man. The Arrow smith lessons have really paid off..racking up points wrote:Nice work, Jeff. I just finished assembling my arrows for the bear hunt
These arrows are pretty heavy as well 450gr. My thought is they will help to keep the bullheads on track...

Re: turkeys beware
I am in the process of making turkey bolt myself using 4'' fletch. What kind of arm did you get: Straight, right offset or right helical?
Also, have you try the 125gr magnus bullhead or just the 100gr ones. I have a few 125gr laying around from when I use to shoot a vertical bow and was wondering how the 125gr are shooting using an 18" arrow BE ZS (total weight of 425gr) out of my micro. I am shooting turkey at around 10 yards usually so not looking for 1 inch group at 50 yards with those. Looking for 1 inch group at 20 yards.
If they don't fly well I might try the 100gr blade on the 125gr ferule.
Thanks,

Re: turkeys beware
The fletching tool I used is the 1 degree offset. It's the one with the green arms that says it's for aluminum shafts??? But hey it worked. I have not tried the 125 grain heads. I will be sighting these in soon and will post my results.Dodgethis wrote:I am in the process of making turkey bolt myself using 4'' fletch.
