I find with mine every once and a while I go to get it started by popping out the top and it just wont go and I look like I'm trying to balance it in one hand. if anyone was to watch me they'd think I'm some kind of bozo the clown trying to balance this big thing covered in material and failing miserably.
it's still the best blind I've ever owned and will never go without.

I have two DB's and found the secret to folding it up just don't pull in the sides all the way and it is a breeze. now the other one is a hoot I just keep on twisting until it folds up. got one of those but it is called a Penthouse and it is huge I can't touch the top from the inside.

Putting up my DB Matrix I pop out the front panel and them climb inside and grab the hub on the panel I popped out and push the roof hub up while lifting the blind. Then it is easy to push out the other 3 sides.

Taking it down I collapse the roof then go the the right side, then the back and then to the left side collapsing the hubs inwards. The Blind will lay down with the front still popped out at this point. Grab the base of the blind and push the front hub in while pulling up on the base and the blind folds up on itself. Then simply fold it and stick it in the bag. Takes a lot less time than me typing this.

I took this bird out of mine this morning.

I've gotten a few chuckles over reading the responses to this subject. They really are an oversize Chinese puzzle, aren't they? I have folded mine in the dark, during a heavy & cold downpour. Talk about a challenge! I once had a guy at work ask me to explain how to do it - almost as challenging.

lmao!! Just run at it and do a big ole belly flop on it. You may become trapped in it but it will fold!

Tricky at first but once you get the hang of it t's fairly simple. Good luck.
