fletching arrows

Post by dw »

i think i am going to start refletching my own bolts. the arizona ez fletcher looks good. what's the difference between helical and offset? az ez fletcher has a 4 degree offset but it say's for aluminum. will it work for the carbons also? what else will i need ? what type of glue works best? do i need a stripper to get the old vane and glue off? thanks in advance "dw"

look at http://www.huntersfriend.com/arrowhelp/ ... tion-4.htm
for some answers.
The e-z-fletch tool for aluminum will work fine on any shafts 20/64" diameter and larger, so the gold top carbons work fine in it.
