Finally got a turkey tonite

All the crappy luck i had this year n the escapede with the warden on the first day i was begining to think a gobbler wasnt gonna happen.This week in pa. we can evening hunt but it seems to rain every day anymore. Had some time to hunt tonite i actually had to weedwack my little meadow the growth sprouted up overnite. I used the battery one to limit noise and was gonna move on n hunt another area but my secondary spot had some activity so i had to hunt the spot i just disturbed with the wacker.so after 20 minutes i called twice n a giant hen comes in squaking like crazy .Im chuckeling.so behind me comes a .gobbler hes more interested in the hen so he starts following her n there was my shot.

Today i confirmed that turkeys are trying to kill my wife and her side of the family.

First attack came last year when one flew in to my wifes windshield and caved in the roof while driving home. 3400$ later another turkey narrowly avoided me in the same truck. I figured it was the truck.

But then today sealed it.

My wifes mother called her in a panic to say a turkey flew through her window at home and died in her study!!! Not so strange huh? But her home is a 2 bedroom condo on the 2nd floor of a condo building surrounded by other condo buildings and parking lots in a very very urban area of Ottawa!!

So i told my wife that this means i am allowed to turkey hunt ANY time i want to when the season opens up again this fall lol if only to help keep her, her mom, and my daughter safe from these god damn terrors!

Its in the same place . Moved it a few feet havnt seen her since .she actually gave me a seperate citation for cutting saplings down like i was in a state park or something. I have a letter from the land owner saying its ok to take a truckload of firewood if i want this lady is n a.....s holeo cant wait for the court date.The whole thing is she thought she was gonna nail me for hunting in county private property n when i proved her wrong this is the only card she could deal. Lol
