Over all rail length of an origional gen 1 335 Micro ?

Post by L. E. Carroll »

I'm trying to compare a 2016 model Micro 335 to the prior 2015 model to see what, if any changes were made between model years.. Can someone with a gen. 1 measure your overall rail length and post or PM it to me?

Thank's Gene

Yes, the newer model measures 16 1/4" overall for a 1/2" increase.

It probably has to do with the re-designed riser ? :?:

I bought my 2 Micro 335 in Feb of 2016 new..The riser end to end is 15 and 3/4..So I guess I have the gen 1 riser not 2?

Now why difference of 1/2 inch? Is gen 1 or 2 better or not?

your riser is that long? wow.
they had to add length to the rail as they reduced the limb angle to help with the limb breakage. doing so without the length you would now have a 315.
they added hal inch to all gen 2 micros to keep their ratings.
which one is better? its up to you to decide. i have no worries with my gen 1since they got limb issues under wraps.

Some Gen, 1's had limb troubles, mine didn't. I have over 1000 shots thru mine, so fer all is good

I had my gen 1 limbs replaced as the finish lines in white came thru the finish after 10 shots .Most likely nothing wrong but it scared me when i saw splits in finish near bolt hole and on the left side only and only when string was on with string off you saw nothing..When I sent limbs into Woodys you could see nothing wrong on finish without string on or cocked and I wrote them note ..
