AXIOM SMF standing for "synthetic main frame", she's rated at 305 fps , one of the earlier "wide limb models" but quite possibly still in production ...I know they were still making them thru 2015...

An excellent model if the slight bit of additional width is not an issue. Very accurate and capeable of doing any job you ask if it.... With a realistic speed of roughly 285-290 with a 400 gn hunting weight arrow.

I personally considered the one I owned totally fine for shots up to around 35 yards or under, depending on the calmness or nervousness of the target.

You have a very nice Crossbow....now go out and shoot and get proficient with it.

It looks as it the scope mount is the ADF model with the ADF removed. I don't believe that the Axiom came with this style of mount but used this one.

that is just a normal scope mount,,,, if you will note on the ADF there is a countersunk screw hole in the front and a pin hole in the back.

The "normal" scope mount that came on my Excalibur CBs has 5 slots for mounting scopes and there is a gap at the rear end. The one shown in the above pictures has 9 slots and there is a smaller gap at the rear end. I don't believe that this mount came with the CB.

there are a few different versions of the scope mount that you consider normal. it is not a ADF mount and irrelevant if it came on an axiom as is or not.... its still an axiom.
