Give me a PM or e-mail me,, I know of an excellent one in the area... Sorry if it seems like I am advertising,, but I am just trying to give some hunters on the forum another option

I was just thinking about that today. I could do it myself, but I would much rather get someone to do it right . I'm still going to keep my eyes open around this area (Burlington, Milton) and see if I can find someone out this way. If need be, I'll make the hour drive out your way.
Try asking at the local grocery stores (Fortino's), there are many butchers that work at these places. I popped the question a while back to one, he said he would be interested just had to find a price. I would just have them do it in my garage, boneless. They should be done in under an hour. All lyou have to do is tell them what cuts you want, and depending on the butcher package it yourself. I figure most guys wouldn't mind $60-$80 cash for an hours work.

Hi SIlver,
I'd be interested in finding out more about teh guy that cuts up the venison. We have a guy that does it but he's up in Oakwood. My e-mail is [email protected]. Drop me a line.

Yes sir! One hour. The guy that did mine (deer/bear) was an older chap with a few years experience under his belt. But he could move. I skinned them for him. His only request.
The great thing about having them do it in front of you is you get to decide what cuts you want, and you know you're getting ALL the meat from your deer.

I agree totally chris4570,,
I hunt with this fella , and he will do custom cuts, he does sausage, jerky whatever you want... The only reason I put the info up here is because I am friend with him, and I know he is an honest guy,,, otherwise I would'nt even bother... I know all about the horror stories..

I don't find it a "chore" to cut deer. Rather it's more of a social get together.
A few of the boys get together and cut deer in a friends cellar several times throughout the season. We have a few Blues, tell stories, and have some good laughs at someone's expense. It's all good natured though.
