read down at the bottom about polishing your latches.
then have that re served or replace that string.

Newbie has more than enough knowledge to answer the question and he is indeed correct.

also use less wax.....there is a BOAT LOAD on your rail.
i just vary sparingly wax the serving.....then every so often (when i remember) redistribute the wax. hardly ever apply more. I usualy burn through my serving before i need to apply more....from over cocking (ya i know) and from pulling the serving into the rail as i cock. both are bad habbits i cant break.

mine does the same thing. i just sent two strings to Vixenmaster to reserve for me.

Trigger techs Latch has a slightly larger radius and they are polished to a very nice finish almost mirror like finish. when I bought my max point in 2001 it was eaten servings Danny Miller told me what to do with very fine sandpaper
Go to Boos website he's got a great pictorial on how to take care of the latch
If your trigger breaks clean polishing the latches might be worthwhile
My buddy got the matrix 355 and right from the get-go he was tearing up his servings, may just be the nature of the beast with these higher poundage bows
