Speed loss.

Post by Dale »

Just purchased a Matrix 380. Was wondering the calculation for loss in speed when shooting heavier arrows. ie: would you loose 1 f/s for every 3 grains of extra weight. Just curious.

Sounds about right. That pertains to ANY weight added to string or limbs as well...including the weight of the string itself.

I'm using 2216/2219 shafts, and wondering how short I can go on my arrow. Is 16 inches ok to shoot out of my grizzly cub?

Shoot 2213/16/19's with my Grizzly at both 16" and 16.5". Work great

Sounds good, what weight head are you using?
