Thanks for all replies. I am definately cocking it all the way past the dry fire system. Not sure of the arrow size i am using. They are the excalibur arrows that came with the package when i cought the bow. Gonna try n get out saturday and try it again. Will take some pictures to upload as well. From what i remember during my frustrating session the other day is that the arrow is getting tight under the dry fire claws. However i could b wrong. I will pay closer attention next time around. Thanks again

The dry fire systems moves freely and appears to be working properly. I cant for the life of me expect something to be loose or installed incorrectly. The bow is bran new. Literally 3 arrows shot out of it. If after spending 1300$ on a new piece of equipment only to take it apart ..... tighten everything and reassemble it properly........that just doesnt make sense. I cant possibly see it being that. Are excaliburs test fired in house before being shipped out?

Easiest solution, take it to your nearest dealer for a quick lookover.
Bulldog 400, Hawke XB30, JBK string, Dr S, TriggerT
405 Matrix, XBR, HAA, DM string, TT, ti64
405 Matrix Blackout, XBR, HAA, DM string, TT, ti64

If this was me I would simply take the virtually unshot bow straight back to the dealer for another one. I've never heard of anything like this. Whatever it is will be an easy fix because these bows are very simple. Nonetheless, I'd let the dealer deal with it. Easy peasy!

Don't know if this has been addressed yet, and don't mean to offend but, are you sure you are loading the arrow with one vain "DOWN" in the channel on the rail?

Same here I believe he's not cocking all the way, just stopping at the ADF.
my friend brought his micro to me and said he pulls trigger nothing happens.he was on ADF also..

Me not knowing much i went out and pushed arrow in with vanes not in slot in rail and it was tight going back to trigger claws but if you shot it would fly too moon i think ..

Problem solved. Had a friend with some xbow experience look at it this morning.....he just adjusted the arrow retention spring.....it was bent down way too far. Now it sits maybe an 8th of an inch above rail. Hard to believe that little spring qas making it so difficult to slide arrow in. Regardless problem is fixed n i feel a lot better about it. Thanks for all ur help and replies
