Splinters

Post by Heavvyduty »

Got 2 big splinters in my bow today. (M405) both on same limb , Both are only toothpick size. One is 3in long on the bottom the other is 7in long on top. The shop I got it from is taking care of it as Excalibur warr is great.
My question is can I still use it till this weekend without worries.

If they're only toothpick size splinters then yes, you can shoot it. Break off the splinters and sand them gently with a medium/light grit sandpaper so you don't get slivers. Keep an eye on them until you can replace the limbs.

My 405 did the same thing but only one splinter. It only took 5 days to get my new limbs. The next set had some cosmetic issues and they did not miss a beat. They sent another set of limbs to me with in 4 days while I was able to keep and shoot that set of limbs.
