How Is Woody's Post- Op Going?

Post by Doug the Slug »

Hey Woody: I was just wondering how you are healing after your surgery. Take it slow and easy and don't be lifting anything heavier than a bow, rifle or shotgun. :D

Thanks for your concern Doug.

I have been REAL sore..

There is a constant ache and every now and then a nice pain twing.

Other than that fine and dandy..

I've got a great nurse in Mrs. Williams.

I'm waiting on a Crankeroo that an Excalibur forum member is loaning me. Well, not really a loan. I promised him I would buy him a beer next time I see him.. :D

I'm also waiting on Wabi to get some gray laminate wood (matches my custom Mark Henegar stock) from Mark Henegar to make me a custom grunt tube. There are lots of good people on this board and I for one appreciate them

Three treestands and one ground blind are out so I am ready.. Hopefully by October 1st I can climb a tree...If not 'll sit in the ground blind..

Just take it easy for a while Woody. I have a friend who had one earlier this year. He went back to work as a chef too soon and agrivated it. He walked funny for a few weeks but is alright now. Speedy recovery to you.

That's a good deal a beer for a crankaroo. Up here that would cost you a Bubba. A Bubba is one very large can of beer(like a small keg actually) , which is the equivalent of about 10 or 12 pints I think. Speaking of beer, did you hear that there may be a merger between Canadian and Coors, both of which I like! I'm sure Mrs. Williams is a very good nurse. I've had a similar nurse for the past 26 years who nursed me to health after 3 of those surgerys.
Again best regards,
Doug

My well wishes to you to Woody. I'm like Doug The Slug, I also had 3 hernias. They guranteed me that I'd never have another hernia in the same place. The muscles there are that much tougher.

Take care Woody. Whack'em and Stack'em.
