xbows in alabama for turkeys ?

i know some of you folks were instrumental in getting xbows legalized in alabama and was hoping you could answer a ? for me. the rules say that crossbows are legal for deer season from oct 15th till the end, but what about turkey season? is it going to be legal to use them during turkey season? thanks for the reply

i know what you mean about that for alabama. the same thing goes here for georgia to. they dont say a thing about turkey. but you can take deer beer and hogs and yolts with your xbow but not a thing on turkeys so does any one know the answer??

Since both states recognize crossbows as archery equipment and archery equipment is legal for hunting turkeys then I would say it would have to be OK for crossbows too.

BUT - don't take a Hoosier's word for it.

Check with your state's DNR
