Im starting a thread to post any interesting pictures you want to share. They can be hunting related or not, it doesnt matter.
To start off:
A few more turkeys
My Jack Russel with her prized game (a mouse) that she harvested in the basement!
My Boxer guarding my new Exocet: (I cant figure out how to rotate it)
Looking forward to more pics.

I posted this one before, but I'm still trying to get the hang of posting pictures large enough to see. This is Opie. He used to come visiting every evening and helped himself to the cat's food. I finally helped him to relocate, with a live trap to more secluded digs.

Awsome shots guys ..... keep em coming !
I've posted tons of shots over the years ..... got nothing new right now ... but the season is just around the corner ....
Now that more and more guys are familiar with posting pictures , 2004 season should be filled with slide shows from the field !

Thanks!
It's remarkably simple to take aurora images. Just mount a camera on a tripod, use a wide-angle lens (24, 28, etc), set it to f2.8 (or as low as the f-stop can go), use fast film (ISO 800 or 1000) and take a 20-30 second exposure.
I use a Canon 300D 6.3MP digital camera. The images of the aurora over my old house were about 18 second exposures at f3.5 and using ISO 800. The image of my observatory was the same but using ISO 1600.
Believe me, _anybody_ can take them with a bit of practice.
