Quiver For Munchmount

Post by SummitSitter »

I'm considering picking up a Munchmount to give me the option of mounting both a quiver and a camera above the scope on my Matrix 355.

What quivers would you recommend? Do companies like Kwickee make quivers specifically for crossbows or do you just run a basic bow quiver on your crossbow? I have been using the quiver that came on my Excalibur and have never installed an aftermarket quiver. Preferably I would like the color to match my crossbow (Realtree XTRA pattern).

If you guys could post some pics of your quivers mounted on a Munchmount or possible send me some picks I would appreciate it.

I use a Kwikee-3SS it's less than half the weight of a stock quiver.

The Excal quiver works just fine on all my Munch mounts. The
KK is great option if you want smaller. I use one for deer and moose hunting but need 4+ for hog hunting.

I have quivers of various brands, and they were all fine until I switched over to Montec Stryker Magnum broadheads. These are 3 bladed I&1/2 inch cut broadheads, and they don't fit well.

It's too fussy about how they have to be fitted into the hood so that they don't contact other broadheads. The weight isn't so much a concern to me. I just don't want one broadhead bruising the cutting edge of another, or riding on a plastic divider in the hood.

Any suggestions for a more roomy quiver--not arrow numbers, but more space in the quiver hood?
