My New Matrix 350 SE is finished....

Post by GrassyKnoll »

Well, I've had my Matrix 350 SE for a couple weeks now, but have been waiting on key components to come in so I could start the build.

The following items were perchased to make the Matrix 350 SE complete to me and my style..

So.....the following items were purchased to complete this awesome bow, oh and btw: In the best camo available.....

1. Two Danny Miller flemish strings in bright green and black swist.

2. TriggerTech

3. Arrows are 16/1/4" Zombies with 110 grain brass inserts topped off with the Chosen One : "RAMCAT" 100 grain broadhead.

4. Fletching is 3-2" Orange blazer vanes fletched on the Bohning Bolt fletching jig.

5. The back end is represented with a bright flying Lumenok.

6. Burris Signature "Z" rings in a medium mount.

7. The hardest part was the scope.. I currently have two Vortex Viper XBR scopes, one is on my 380 and the other is on my Stryker solution 390LS.. I needed another one for the Matrix 350... So I scoured the classifieds for a week and nothing pops up. Finally one does and I jumped on it like a hungry tiger in a chicken coop... I get it in and it is perfect condition.

Finally after it is all put together, I sight it in out to 50 yards with my RAMCATS and it is spot on.....and ready to hunt next week as I'm on vacation beginning next Saturday..

Anyway, I know will shut up and post a pic or two, so without further ado. I give you my Matrix 350 LE......

Looks great.

I'm surprised you get enough eye relief with the XBR back that far.

They fit into the quiver that is supplied with the Excalibur's.. The way I get them is to actually snap in the shaft into the two rubber grippers then push the arrow forward into the hood.

Mind if I ask where you found your Vortex xbr? I have the same 350 and have been wanting to try that scope. Yours looks good.

Basically I just put it out there that I was looking for one in the classifieds under the Want To Buy section of the various Hunting sites... I was lucky in that someone PM'ed me over on AT that wanted to sell his... I will tell you this, without a doubt the glass in the XBR is so clear and crisp from edge to edge. Color fidelity and clarity is incredible.

Good luck,
Ed

Ed, you are obviously a gentleman with refined taste! ......as my M380 is set up identically. Tourbon adjustable cheek rest, Vortex Viper XB-R....well done!
only difference is that I use the sunshade and have a 1.5lbs T.T. trigger. Enjoy the awesome setup you've put together.
