Thanks, its an interesting way to fill the freezer for sure . Same thing as ML round balls they just don't use a patch . Can shoot pure soft lead bullets as well but they load pretty hard without a leade although there are bullets designed to fit them as is with a few driving bands sorta like black powder bullets . some people with the .45s do shoot black powder bullets as there is more choice with them . I didn't like paying big bucks for ready made bigbore airgun ammo . For the cost of three or four boxes of it I bought my whole casting setup, paid for itself the first time I used it

No problem . If you get a chance check out extreme big bore . They are a shop in Michigan that builds big bore airguns . they build up to .72

From what I've heard it will foul the barrel with plastic quickly and not offer any advantage over a cast bullet or round ball . I've not tried it myself though . Cleaning it would be difficult as you can't use anything that would damage the seals .

The sound is a bit hard to describe, like a non shrouded small bore pcp just louder and deeper . The sound dose not travel very far, some one 150-200 yards away would not hear it well enough to know what it was .

It's loud enough that you should wear earplugs when target shooting but no were near as loud as a slug gun or muzzle loader . There are some shrouded big bore pcps that are much quieter . The muzzle is threaded 1/2 20 like a lot of airguns if you like messing with that stuff .
