Over on Archery Talk is an interesting thread on Leupold's new tracking device.

I'm glad it says leupold on the side. One would hope that company does its homework. Hunting dedicated FLIR thermals are much more than what leupy is asking.

Sounds interesting. I might have found a deer I lost earlier this year if I had thermal imaging. I tracked it with a friend over 200 yds over the course of two days before we lost the blood trail.

Would this be able to pick up a freshly warm blood trail in the dark as well?
