Limbs light in color

Post by sproulman »

When I got my 2 micro 335 limbs matched the bow.The replacement limbs are real light in color ....Looks odd on bow light limbs and dark stock..

Anyone else seeing this ?

If you want them to match you must return entire bow when doing warranty. Not a big deal, the deer will not notice.

I've had the color tone be a different shade before. I actually thought it was from a different series bow. Once I learned all the matrix limbs were the same I was fine with it. Don't worry about it Jim, think of it as having a unique bow. I bet it still looks and shoots great!

You have mentioned this in a couple of different threads, what did Excalibur have to say to you? Did you ask?

How about putting blackout limbs on it.

limbs on my matrix turned white and blistered plus the quiver top was loose. I sent the parts in while I could use a muzzleloader . took 5 days nice looking
parts came back plus new upgraded limb straps and bolts. shipping was $7.86.
happy here .

same here. my 405 limbs and replacement riser didnt match. im picky about my gear but i wont send the stuff back because its working without issue. sucks when you have over $1000 invested and you dont have matching parts. im exhausted from all RMA-S and back n forth shipping between the Micros and Megas in the family.

I do not understand why when you send the original limbs in they cannot match camo color ?This happened on my Beretta forearm stock I sent in came back real light color they said send it back and they sent me darker color..My Beretta shotgun looked terrible with light forearm..

I read in one of your earlier posts that you suffering some color blindness issues later in life. Might this be an issue?

Somethings bother ppl. n its their money they paid. I think a person should get it done right. Now i am more of function than eye candy. My 350SE limbs are diff shade/color than my stock. Thats the way it came from the Factory, it don't bother me none at all it shoots great. Thats function it does what i want it to do, kill tick toters

You should try camo dipping your stock and then a year later try it again and try to get the limbs to match up using a different process altogether. See how good you make out. I hear complaints on the forum yet no one has said what Excalibur had told them. At least give them the opportunity to explain or make right. Seems fair, but I'm weird.

In the same breath: perhaps Excalibur can do a better job of explaining to the customer that the limbs they get back may differ slightly.
