wasp hammer sst????

Post by ecoaster »

anyone use these??? I can't seem to find any boss broadheads. All sold out this time of year, go figure. Would the hammer be ok for a carbon on an exocet. The only differnece I see is that they're a little larger. Gotta get back to the playstation and some brews. Opinions welcome. Thanks guys!!!

They are very good heads that fly well and kill even better.

I've used them for three years and have no complaints..

I can vouch for them too. Two shots. two deer, both piled up within sight of tree stand. I'd rated them up with the Slick Tricks, for performance. The SST's Trocar tip is tough, and second to none, but I find the Slick Tricks to fly a tad better and just like field points.

If I had to rate the two, I'd give the Trick an edge, but only a very slight one.

Dave,

These are the fixed blades. They are just called Hammers.

slick tricks are the best for sure second montec g5 its hard to decide between those 2...ive used the wasp broadheads there good but I get a better flight outa the slicks...montecs g5s are great one piece design very strong..Im starting to like the montecs more. For they are a no nonsense broad head no assembly needed..spin them on and balance--let them fly---if you havent tryed them you need to at least take a look..Ive hunted for years-flung alot steel--theres alot of good broadheads out there--Its all in what your use to..

I shot my Wasp Bosses tonight, and after cutting a vane with my second shot at 20 yards, then centering the bullseye at 30 yards I figure I'm good to go!

My son is using Wasp hammers off the Vixen and they are deadly good too.

These broadheads look interesting. Can someone tell a "no hunter" why 3 or 4 blade broadheads are better or more famous?
