gen1 or gen 2

i see posts about gen1 or gen2 micros? whats the difference and how do i know which i have?

The generation 1 has a webbed riser. The generation 2 has no webbing and the hole for the string stop drilled through the rise. The generation 3 has no webbing and the hole for the string stop not drilled through the riser.
