Hi Gary Merlie - nice to see you back on the forum. Where the heck have you been? Yeah, my wife's a good looking lady, but the one in the picture is a little too young for marriage just yet.

GaryL - yep, I keep my distance with bees!

The camera was regularly $649.00 CDN and it was on sale for $499.00. We got another $25.00 off as it was an opened box....brand new and full warranty though. There were 4 or 5 pictures on it taken in the store.

We paid another $90.00 for 3 year bumper to bumper warranty.

Here's a toad I shot while scouting tonight:

My new digital camera came in the mail today, not all the options on yours Mikey but with most of what I need.

Digger,

Is that a C740?

It looks very similar ot teh one my son bought last week.

I bought the C770 about 2 months ago. I dearly love the 10X zoom..and the NO MORE FILM TO BUY AND PROCESS!!

Woody, its a C4000 Zoom with 10x optical & digital zoom. I'm just going thru the manual now and if it was any more compicated I'd have to be a mensa member. As I read on its getting simpler, after a few days I'll get on to it. It sure ain't your brownie box camera.
