Can the Excalibur Micro 315 fit in the Spire case by Plano?

I read that the case fits crossbows 24.5 inches in diameter but the micro 315 is 25 however I've read online that people had put they're other micros in the case by doing modifications to the case itself. So if anyone has they're micro in a spire case, what kind of mods are we talking about? Like simply removing some of the foam or shaving/removing some of the case off to fit the bow.
